Brake pedal travels to floor

Brake pedal travels to floor
Hey guys I just changed all 4 rotors and pads and bled the entire system and the brakes work well (no spongy feeling) . However I notice that if I press hard enough the brake will reach a point where it can go no farther as if bottomed out on the floor. Is this normal?
Note- I had observed this before I did the brakes and thought that it was secondary to thinned rotors and worned pads. So has anyone else noticed this?

Maybe I am not understanding your question.
If you press hard enough, the pedal will have to stop eventually. You are dealing with solid objects and hydraulics... there is a finite amount of travel involved.
If your pedal is, in fact, hitting the floor... then I would start suspecting a bad master cylinder.

I think what he is saying is that when he is stopped..i.e. comes to a red light and initially stops....his brakes work fine. But when completely stopped, if he continues to had more foot pressure, the pedal is stiff but can eventually feel a hard end feel which is probably the floor.
I have this also in my car.
Anyone else?

I've never heard of the pedal going to the floor unless there is a problem somewhere - i.e. leaky master cylinder, leaking caliper(s) or even a brake line starting to leak (due to corrosion), leaking brake hose, etc.
Anyways, I've never had one go to the floor unless there's a problem.
