Rewired blinker to corner light

Rewired blinker to corner light
Rewired my blinker to the corner light next to the headlight and have my front and side bumper lights stay on w/headlights. I changed the corner bulb to amber and rewired it to turn on w/headlights and gets brighter when signal is on. Also changed bumper lense bulbs to yellow, but I think I will change these to superwhite bulbs. What do you guys think?

that's simple wiring...
cut bumper light then splice the positive wire that's connected to the bumper lights to the sidemarker lights so that they stay on continuosly...
and as for the corners blinking... cut the wire going to the corners, and then connect the wire that's connected to the corner light to the wire that was once connected to the bumper light.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal since the corner lights are there to illuminate the road as you turn. They're supposed to be on all the time. Why do you think they get bright when you turn on your blinkers. And putting in amber bulbs instead of white bulbs in the corners is also stupid, not that any of you mentioned that...

I doubt it's illegal if:
1. The corners use amber bulbs.
2. Most cars don't have these corner lights...
3. 95-96 are the only 4G Max's that has clearance lights that get brighter when using turn signal.
Things that make it illegal:
1. No amber reflector
2. No amber bulb for turn sigs or parking lights.
I have contemplated doing this for a while, I've seen it done.
What I want, however, is this:
Daytime, lights off: Corner lights blink for turns, using 27 watt filament.
Nightime: Lights on, corner burns at 27 watts full time, and BLINK when using turn signals.
No bumper lights AT ALL--painted over, if you will (yes this is illegal since there's NO AMBER REFLECTOR). So corner functions as: Amber parking lights, turn signals.

I wonder how it'd look with the corners using amber bulbs at 27watts, on all the time but wired to blink instead of the normal bumper lights. Then have both of the bumper lenses on all the time with matching hyperwhites. What would be really innovative is if someone wired another bulb into the corner light so it would blink amber but run white for the rest of the time, might be possible if you were to use LEDs.

Hmm, I'm not too keen on the hyperwhite bumpers (too busy), but the white into amber is something I've been thinking about for a while, but haven't come up with an usable idea yet--I think you're on the right track--LEDs. But the LEDs have a diffusion pattern different from regular filament-based bulbs, and subsequently, the LEDs might not be bright enough at certain angles.

I just found this.

I suppose this method might work, but the LED's will have to be arranged to be visible at the correct angles, and this will be a very "fun" project--probably a bit costly (I do not know how much these high-intensity LEDs cost).
I suppose someone could request these guys to do Maximas, but...
it's too much trouble, in my opinion, just for the look. I'd rather achieve a JDM feel.
