disturbing

well i was driving along and i stoped at a gas station and walked around the back of my maxima and noticed that the whole string of led lights in the spoiler was hanging out. I guess i lost the red lens that goes over them and now they are just floping in the breeze...while i am talking about the spoiler i will throw this problem out too...on one side the bolts have somehow pulled their way up out of the deck lid and the left side of the spoiler is not connected to the car--and i thought it would be easy to fix and i could just tighten the nut back up but the spoiler bolts were not drilled all the way through the lid so i can't get to them with out takeing the deck lid apart...and if that was not enough problems to fix now none of the little leds will light up....so i am thinking "get a new spoiler" but i don't have any other outside mods to the car so if i put anything back on it that does not look stock iam afraid that it will look stupid and out of place....so if you can help me fix any of my problems or suggest a spoiler please help

That is disturbing. Unfortunately, I haven't done any work with my spoiler so I have no info for you. All I would suggest is to try and fix your stock one if you're not going for a flashy look. I'm pretty sure I've seen the plastic casing for the leds on eBay, that doesn't seem like a difficult thing to fix. Maybe others will be able to help you out. Good luck.

get rid of the brake light in the wing. get it filled in and get a custom 3rd brake light molded into the trunk just under the wing.

thats the only idea I could come up with. It might be a little expensive though.

About you spoiler not being attached, it has plastic clips that hold it on, it is either broken or has come loose. If it is broken the parts are about 50 dollars. I would tell you how to fix it but I have no idea.I'd take it to a body shop and find out if they can reattach it with out buying new clips.
