leeking trunk?

leeking trunk?

when it rains out my 96 se gets a soaked trunk this is not good. i cant find where it is coming from anyone have similar problems or have an idea of how this is happening? dont want subs and amp to get wet when i get them.

where is it getting soaked from? check ur sunroof if u have one, make sure that it is sealing properly

Check the two rear sunroof drain tubes. They run down in the rear over the wheel wells. Also check your tail lights. If the seal is broken water may be coming in through them.

If you ever had the outer tail lights out to make red clears, that probably the first place you should start looking.

check the little rubber channels at the base of your rear windshield. The ones that border the trunk basically. You might see one of the rubber side walls pulled up a bit or what not, happend to me once, simple fix was pushing it back into place.
