Budget Y Pipe: Any bad reviews?

Turns out I have an exhaust leak, and it's coming from my y-pipe. Instead of buying the OEM pipe, I was gonna just go ahead and order a budget y-pipe. Anyone ever hear anyting bad about it? Any problems with installing it? Thanks

Chris

Same here. Installed mine last month... MUCH easier to install than the stock y-pipe... way more room to work with when those precats are not in the way.

Ilove mine and i have it for 2 weeks now. Two complains:
- Stinks like hell for first few drives (the oil inside the pipe need to burn of)
- Makes you step on it a bit more (Not realy a bad thing)

Get it and you will love it.

I've had a Warpspeed and currently own a Cattman, but I'd still recommend Budget. My friend has a budget and he's had no problems.

I've had budget cattman and stillen ypipes. All 3 are quality products , but Budget ships out fast and its the cheapest, therefore I recommend budget.

all warpspeed, cattman, budget y-pipes are the same. and since budget is the cheapest and still presents quality, i have no complain about it.

I had a budget y pipe and a bpipe on my max for about the last month before i was forced to sell her... It was great quality, fit perfectly and sounded great. Its the cheapest out there and is just as good as many if the more $$$ pipes in my opinion. Theres only so much HP you can squeak outta the pipes.

I've had the Budget ypipe on for about a month. When I first installed it, it was fairly quiet. Then it got louder, deeper at idle and when I rev. but still quiet compared to having a full catback exhaust. Sounds really nice. I definetely feel much more power than before. The best $160 spent on my car!

Love my budget but mine was defective. Had to pay extra for fabricating an extra o2 sensor hole(wouldn't fit, if the hole was 5mm to the right it would fit). I love the power but combined with an APEXi WS it sets off alarms...
