headlight removal
hey does anyone have a step by step instructions on how to remove the head light in a 97...i would fool around but i dont wanna break anything, i have decided i need to clean the inside of the passenger side light..thanks guys!

2. Remove Clearance Light by taking out screw on top and pulling light out.
3. Remove grill by twisting screw driver in both ends of grill
4. Remove 2 screws on side of headlight assembly that were exposed after clearance light removal.
5. Remove 2 screws on back of headlight.
6. Un hook the bulbs and pull headlight out.

I use a 3½ inch extension bar to remove top nut behind headlight. The flexy angle corner attachment on the end of my extension bar mounted atop a 10mm socket works just fine for the lower nut (drivers side). The passenger side is a little tricky, I remove the bottom one by the 'extension with flexy thing' just till loose, then I must finish bottom bolt by hand. The top, with a longer extension 6" i think. I take my headlamp housings out frequently.
Put grease on the nubs on the back of the side marker housings to make re-installation and removal much much easier.
