A/C problem...is there an easy fix?

Hey, I'm the moderately proud driver of a '95 Max. I have the manual air conditioning. When I got the car, the "1" position of the A/C didn't work. All the others 2, 3, and 4 were fine. Now, ONLY the 4 works. So it's full blast or nothing. What might be wrong? I am going to have it fixed tomorrow, and I don't want to get taken if it's something pretty simple. Any ideas? Thanks.
