I was wondering if the Racesonic strut bars actually made a difference in cornering. I heard of some installation hassles with the 99 models, if so, are there any easy solutions? Does anyone have a pic of the bar installed? Any information about the FSTB would greatly appreciated.

if you have a 99 don't buy it, unless you want to cut off that bracket, and if your an early 99 you may not have the bracket, if so it'll fit your car, didn't fit mine b/c of the bracket

 

It made so much of a difference for me. I was amazed at how much it helped. I can't even drive my mom's 96 max anymore because it feels so much worse when I turn. I give it an A+. Also, cutting that bracket is not a big thing on the 99's, cuz my friend did it to his, and it worked just fine.

 

is it possible to install the strut bar too tight? I just installed one from Ebay on my 95 max and it feels a lot better

 

I'll be installing mine tomorrow so I'll let you know . I just took my Max out for its last agressive drive without the strut bar so I can tell if it really makes a difference
