motor oil: dino to synthetic

at 72k miles, i hope to change my oil from 10w30 dino to 5w30 synthetic. i kno this is better in the winter, but should there be any concerns in the summer (i live in illinois) as opposed to using 10w30? thanks.

illinois can get pretty damn hot in the summer! i think the oil would be too thin if u went that way
