Alright over the last two days something happened to my car. It takes around 3-4 tries to get it going and when it starts the RPM goes from 500 to 1200 and it makes a weird acceleration noise, but than when I take it for a drive... no problem, RPM level stays at 500 when at a stop sign or red light, no decreased acceleration, everything seems to be fine. Today I have checked the battery and the belts, both are fine. Tomorrow I will clean the throttle body, does anyone else know what might be causing the problem, thanks.

i have had the same problem for awhile already since recently my car die out i decided to bring it to the shop and get it fix they replaced the starter for me which cure the starting problem then the rough idle would be the throttle position sensor or the Coolant Temp Sensor here is the link below to check the throttle position sensor hope the info would help
