suspension question

I wanted to know, if i get lowering springs, do i need to get new struts or will stock struts be fine? I'm not looking for better handling, just the lowerd look. Also, what springs will pair best with stock struts?

Re: suspension question

if you want the lowered look you will most likely be looking at something along the lines of sprints, eibachs, h&r's, etc, which means you're gonna need performance struts....unless you want to do some serious damage to your stock struts. KYB AGX struts seem to be very popular.

you could probably get away with using stock struts for a while.. but don't expect it to be fine forever. there are guys on the org who had their stock struts go after a few weeks after lowering, while some have gone for months on them. it all depends on the condition/mileage of your stock suspension, how big of a drop you get, and how bad the roads are around you. i would just get new struts while you are at it so you don't have to reinstall everything later when your stock struts blow.

its not absolutely necessary to get aftermarket struts/shocks...but without them, your ride will be a bit bouncy, and they'll blow after awhile.
