Feedback from people wih progress springs

i love the ride i love the drop i love the look. the front sits lower then the rear which makes it handle much better. No you wont over steer(u cant anyways, its fwd), but u will notice how much the understeer gets controlled due to the nose staying down around turns and almost cutting into the apex. I have had the setup almost a year and have no regrets. In sh!tty detroit roads im at 2 in the front and 1 in the rear. In pittsburgh im at 3 in the front and 5 in the rear( whats up autocross). 3 5 is the best for this setup in my opinion, but you gotta have good roads for that or it hurts. Right now people cant tell if i have stock suspension with 2/1(meaning ride quality). They have settled to about a full 2 inch drop all around but still with the front a little lower. Long story short, i love em.

No. The only problems I have had is my toe is always going out, but I'm pritty sure it is due to tie rod problems. One thing to note is, I just noticed you have a 5th gen. I've heard progress springs can be too soft for the heavier 5th gens. As far as wheel gap, the front is about 3 fingers tightly and the rear just about 4. and by the way, how do you have an 02 6 speed? i thought that the 03 has the 6 speed.

Well in all honesty i was guessing, plus i have a 4th gen. Like i said before you guys might wanna talk to the 5th gen guys about progress springs, i dont get why your posting this in the 4th gen forums. I've never heard of anyone with a 4th gen complain about progress, but i have heard about 5th gen's complaining about them bein too soft. As far as wheel gap, like i said, its less then half of what it used to be.

Like NotNew!!NewSN!! said, you'll get more relevant feedback from the 5th gen board. The difference in weight and its distribution across the front and rear of the car will impact the gap info you're looking for. Even among 4th gens, there may be some difference between an auto tranny vs. manual one.
