There arent any. If you go for "superwhite" or "hyper-something" you'll only get that "I wish I could afford HIDs" look.

If you want HIDs get them. If you just want better lighting, check out Phillips XtraVision or Sylvania CoolBlue.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the "I wish I could afford HIDs" look.. I'm just looking for the nicest looking bulbs and hoping to get some good recommendations.. I refuse to spend 300 on headlights..

Thx,
Mike

Well you can use over-wattage bulbs.
Such as 80/100 watt bulbs. (which I currently run)
You would also need to buy/install an upgraded
wire harness. The over-wattage bulbs will melt
the stock one.

Tae,

Are they used? How much are you looking for the set? Will I get pulled over with the headlights?

Thanks,
Mike

Don't refuse to pay for HIDs they are worth it. I have tried many bulbs and none come close to HIDs. High wattage bulbs don't do S%#$ but make your alternator work harder if you also have a sound system.

I know they are worth it but I would rather spend money on other things.. Im just looking for a nice headlight replacement. I know none are going to look exactly like HID's. I used to have a Millenia and the Razo lights that I had looked unbelievably close to HID's but they dont make them for Maxima.. Ill probably just go with PIAA..

Thx,
Mike

best hyper-whites

since the search function isn't working, i'm going to ask on this thread...

what are the better hyper-white types of lights (not plasma)? i have been using piaa 9004 platinum super-white 64/45W for my headlights and piaa h3 platinum super-white 55W for my fogs. these lights are great, but they are very expensive, especially with shipping. i want something i can get at wal-mart or a local auto parts store for a much more reasonable price. i'm tired of paying 120 some-odd dollars (for an entire set) when they eventually burn out. silverstars? philips? thanks in advance.
