My freind told me about this...

You know your air fuel sensor well if you go to Radio shack and by this adaptor and place it on the sensor it wont limit the air intake of the car....? or somthing like that.

Is there any truth in that and if it is can it damage your car?

and supposedly you gain 10 to 20 hp

Please tell us more about the "air fuel sensor." How does it limit the air intake?

I may try this too if anyone can back it up. I have also tried the RODENT MOD for anyone who is thinking about it, DONT ! I had also heard rumors and went out and bought one of those round rotating hamster cages, then snuck around in the woods and bagged a squirrel. I spent MUCH time modifying everything under the hood to get the cage and squirrel to fit.

After a few test runs I could feel no increase in performance. So I would not recommend a hamster. There not as fast.

As for as the radio shack mod, i guess after this latest quest, im a bit skeptical of the radio shack mod. They might can hook up a gadget than can increase your scanner reception by 43 percent, but an additional 10-20 hp from the shack, on a maxima ? i dont know.

Also if anyone is in the market for a spinning hamster cage let me know. If there are enough people interested i will put it on ebay.

I found the RODENT MOD in my friends air box this past weekend. He borrowed his mom's Jeep Grand Cherokee to move some stuff for me. She doesn't drive it much. I think it's a 99 with like 14K on it. We thought it was lacking power, just didn't seem right on the highway when you stepped on it. Open the air box and found it stuffed with insullation and debri. The mouse was long gone but I'm sure he had a nice warm home all winter long!
