Okay, so the search is down, otherwise, I knwo that this has been discussed before. I have a 99 SE-L with a production date of 2/99 so I am assumiong that it has the problem with the metal tab that keeps the installation of a strut bar from being smooth. Now I read before that somebody had gotten a strut bar from SOMEWHERE that was okay and did nto require any removal of the tab. Basically, where can I get a strut brace that I will have no problem putting in on my 99SE-L.

i had a problem with this just 1 day ago, my fix a hammer and 1 minute, just bash it down some or pop it off with a screwdriver. the metal tab is nothing special.

Just get the $20 bar off ebay. It fits perfect once you remove the tab from your SE-L. It takes 2 minutes to cut the thing off.
