Took me 9 hours ...

To replace front and rear brake pads. LOL

Oh well, no previous experience and no manual to follow through with this but it all worked out.

Took awhile to figure out a few things with the rear but it all worked out. Took the time to bleed out the system twice since there was air still in the lines, so far so good.

But good lordy, it's easy after spending 9 hours sniffing that brake dust and taking everything apart.

Are the Rear brakes easier to replace or something, I just did a search up and didn't find much in regards to doing the rear brakes, only the fronts.

You shouldnt have gotten air in the lines by just changing the pads.

It's not too hard to change the rears. Getting a Haynes or Chilton manual will provide you lots of pics/instruction. IMHO, it's worth the investment.

Heads-up: the rear disk brake piston needs to be turned back into the the caliper. Unlike the front pistons, you can't just use a c-clamp to push it straight in. You can do that either with needlenose pliers or a piston turning tool. I found a tool for C$6.99 in some local shop. Here's what it looks like:

You might also want to check out www.motorvate.ca. There's lots of good how-to/pics for basic maintenance.
