How much is this maxima worth?

hey guys, I have been looking for a Maxima for 3 months now and I think I have came across a really good deal. I need your opinion on this 1 ? How much do you think a 1997 Black Maxima SE with the following mods already installed on it is worth?

18" ZENETTI WHEELS
EIBACH SPRINGS
BLACK CHROME TAIL LIGHTS
CLEAR SIGNAL LIGHTS
HEADLIGHT EYEBROW
BRUSHED ALUMINUM DASH KIT
COLD AIR INTAKE
SEBRING TUNING EXHAUST
RED CALIPERS
ALPINE CD PLAYER
2 12" INFINITI SUBS
KENWOOD AMP
MEMPHIS 6X9s

Whats the mileage? Do a VIN check with Carfax or something before you buy. What stock options does the car have on it?

...... a 97 with only 6300 miles??? why would someone put all that money into the car and then turn around and sell it when it has no miles on it. just something to think about. keep cool, later

You got a point there bro, a 97 should have about 72k miles if going 1k per month. I havent seen the car itself, found it online today and going to see it this weekened hopefully. Who knows, maybe the guy doesnt travel much or maybe he is one of those who cut off the odometer alot . Just gotta see the car and see why he wants to sell it. thx :P

technically 6300 thousand miles = 6,300,000 miles... so hes got a winner there what kind of deal are you getting? i'd say its worth about 10k is it stick or auto? what options? bose? no bose? leather? no leather?

Dude extra's add absolutely nada to the value of the car. A car with performance mods just means that it has been rode hard. Ao good stereo is nice to have though.

your right extra doesnt increase the value as u think... dont but it your better off buying a stock car and doing what u want your way. all this mods mean that it has been driven by a young kid that likes to push his car.

good luck

I know that this car has been pushed hard, but the car has every mod i wanted installed on it, and he is only asking 11k for it. I am kinda not wanting to buy it cuz im sure this car has been raped really bad. why do you say that extras dont count ? if i add extras to a stock, i be spending total of 15 grand or so.

A stock carhas a MUCH less chance of being beat. Plus, there is a HUGE difference between a mod that is done, and a mod that is done correct.

doggy, give it a test drive. i have a 97 and its 33k miles on it. some people have to use the public transportation to commute to work. Someone may want to correct me on this, normally an auto trans can be pushed a little bit over 3k rpm. I don’t know if that is considered to be car beating rpm range. it could be that this person love his car and don’t beat on it. well, it doesn’t hurt, if you take it for a spin.

ur absolutly right It depends on who drives the car. someone who pushes the car real hard ? or someone who loves his car and drives firmly. I've been searching for 3 months now and have seen so many of em. I wont be that excited cuz it isnt the 1st one i see. but it IS the 1st souped up one i see. a test drive wouldnt hurt anything.

Doggy, gonna add in my few words of wisdom. I bought a 95 max knowing nothing about anything and it was auto. 86k every option for 6000. a few months later after being on these boards i f*cking sold that POS and bought a 5spd. Wait for a 5spd!

go check the car out, dont add up the value of the mods... because it gets you nowhere because its hard to subtract the value of how much it has been beat

check the tranny... or be prepared to replace it if the car has been beat on hard, and prepare for maintainance costs and all that good stuff, the VQ motor can take a beating if it wasnt boosted or juiced... so that should be ok

anyways... good luck, maybe you'll get what you want

97s in my area are going for 8500 or so in good condition
