I've read a posts of people having their STS snapped off while they were shifting. I got an STS from Ebay and I was wondering if this is a common problem. Also, I have read some post of people saying that their STS shift as smooth as stock. How much difference would Redline fluid make especially in warm weather?

I notice a huge improvement in smoothness. I imagine shifting with an STS with oem tranny fluid would require quite a bit more effort. I use MTL which is less viscous on the lower end than MT-90. (MT-90 is a better match to oem specs actually.)
