so I need new motor mounts...couple of Qs

I have figured that I definitely need new ones. I know they are about $260 from Place Racing.
I figure mine have been broken for a while but I didnt know.

Does anyone else sell them?
Is it bad to continue driving my car?
Can I do install? How much to pay someone to install?

The place racing engine mounts don't have the best reputation here. The general consensus is that they transmit to much vibration to the rest of the car. Check into some of the homemade motor mounts. I believe there is some information contained in the FAQ.

Unless your mounts are completly destroyed you should be fine with normal driving.

The install is not to difficult if you have the right tools. For the driver side you need a long extension. I used a 20" and 12" extension together to reach the rear mounting bolts.

Mine were broken on my last car, and you could definitely tell.

I failed inspection because of a broken motor mount. I understand that has nothing to do with driving ability, but why not get them fixed at your own leisure than be rushed?
