Injen Intake illegal?????
I think I read on another site that the injen CAI is illegal in California, is this true?
Also has anyone had problems with the CAI sucking up water and is there something I can do about it?
Last question, what does the intake sound like, deep throaty V-8, or something else?

I've never had a problem with my Injen sucking up water, unless you are stupid and drive through a foot deep puddle (actually it'd probably need to be even deeper), its not an issue. I don't think it's illegal in cali, but then again I don't live there so.. it is CARB approved, and I believe that is good all over the US.

If you dont have paper stating its Legal then its illeagle, Cops in CALI are the biggest @ holes of all, They will impound your car if they even think you were racing, They check under your hood and everything, Theres a video about Cali racing out there somewere, I dont remember what its called though

yeah, i've seen that, but i thought there was some BS going on where cops had spec sheets on common ricers (civics, eclipses, accords, etc.) and if they had reason to they would pull people over and compare their cars to spec. Enough tickets, Bam! car gets towed.

Yea, before CARB doesn't approved the certificate for Injen, but now they do. So, It is not illegal to use Injen intake in CA no more. You can get the certificate by sending a fax to Injen. Try to see it at the first page when you log in to see the INjen webpage. You will find it easily.
