El Cheapo cone intake

I got a APC cone intake from pep boys and I was wondering if anybody has experience with it? Will it damage my engine by not filtering all the particles?

I have an El Cheapo AutoZone filter.

My engine has not exploded yet.

They work fine, just not as well as others. It seems to be more for sound that true performance.

i have that same autozone filter.. not noisy..little hissing and werks great.

I would go quality just in case. My JWT does great and I haven't heard any filtering problems with it.

You worried about it buy a new Autozone one every 3 monthes.... or oil it.... at 19.99 a pop here i can buy a lot of those for the cost of a single "good" one
