Well, it looks like my starter is dead. I'm going to head over to CAP or Autozone to get a new one. I heard that it's a pretty easy DIY job. Does anyone have any hints that they can give me that I can read when I get back? Thanks.

Get a big wrench for the 17mm bolt. Make sure you torque them down correctly, I forget the exact settings.

 

It's not hard, somewhat time consuming, but not hard. You might have to get a breaker bar, the bolts are rather tight.
