How Much Should a Fuel Pump Cost?

Maybe I am freakin crazy, but I just got quoted $379 for an oem fuel pump. Shouldn't they be going for about $150? I dunno, maybe I got spoiled (cost of parts-wise only, all other things are better with the max) when I had a dodge truck, but man that hurts the colon paying that much for a fuel pump.

False. Aftermarket pumps will not lower mpg. Also get a walbro for like 90 bucks. Thats what i did and its better than oem.

Cool, thanks

Yeah, I finally found an aftermarket after some mad looking, but it ran me just over a hundred. I got it in, but I guess the next few days will tell what the result will be. Really I am more afraid of losing some power than losing some mpg. Hell, I just bought a bike for mpg... But thanks for the posts, all. I guess those oems are killers sometimes.
