200,000 miles and counting....who's there with me???

Mine is at about 68k miles right now. I doubt the car will hit 100k because I probably won't have the car by then. Mine is a '96. I bought it brand new. I don't drive that much though.

I wanna see if any of you guys can top the 89 accord that comes into a old friend's dads shop regularly. Last I knew almost two years ago, it had 527k on it, on the original engine and tranny.

Just last weekend, my 1996 Max just came to a 111,111 miles. Is
going to be a long way before 200K.
As for all you guys with all the stuff added into the car. I have
nothing added to my car other than the fog light. I live in NYC and I
park my car on the street.

200k+
So far 214k miles on my '95 Maxima. Replaced the starter twice that was bought from Autozone two years ago (unlimited replacement). CV joints replaced right side. ABS replaced recently along with brakes. Also, one or two new rotors. Right rear wheel bearing replaced a few years back. Just installed Tokico blues rear, yet to do the fronts (time constriction). Platinum plugs 20k miles ago. Auto trans fluid is slightly dark but doesn't smell burnt (next to be drained and replaced).
Still getting 30 mpg highway city about 24mpg average around 27.4 daily driving (45 mph). All on 87 octane. Still eats most cars. Have '00 stock Maxima 17 inch (isn't this supposed to be metric?) rims on Dunlop A2sports (is there a better tire?).
Also, have the problem with number two setting on air conditioner, also recharged recently.
Just a great car. I would buy another Maxima, would probably stick with the 4th generation but with an earlier model. Only thing I don't like is with the license plate mounted on the trunk, definately prefer the bumper mount look.
The problem I see with 5th gen maximas is although the horsepower increases the mileage decreases. As well as the ugly license plate trunk mount. Cost is also prohibitive. Don't like spending money on the car unless the US/Japanese exchange rate was more in our favor. 24k on a new car or any car for that matter is bs. Bought mine for 6k back in '99 with 150k miles and glad I did. Just have to put up with the ugly marroon or pearl red paint (same color as the Haynes Repair Manual car except beige interior, which is bright but looks spacier than black or grey).
