My car is hurting (ECU 0608 and 0304)
Hello.
I have a '98 SE, manual transmission with ~60k miles.
The car has been giving me a 0608 (cylinder 1 misfire) code on and off for roughly 8 months now. I always use premium gas, and have run a fuel injector cleaner (chevron) through it at least 10 times now. the car runs better for a while (2 or 3 tanks), but the code always comes back. I also am experiencing rough idles and lack of power (it "skips" upon hard acceleration), and get about 25 mpg.
I have switched gas stations a few times now (from citgo to hess to mobil to sunoco), it doesnt seem to matter where I get gas.
More recently (this wednesday), the lack of power and rough idling came back...it seems it brought along its friend the "knock sensor code" along with it - 0304.
My questions are:
1) Is my problem most likely fuel injector related?
2) Should have the injectors replaced, or could my problem be something besides a bad injector? If I do get them replaced, should I do all of them or can I get by doing only one?
3) Anyone get their injectors replaced before? If so, about how much did it cost?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
I am sorry if there are already posts similar to this one...for some reason the search page wouldn't let me search, even after logging in.

Hey bud. I'm 99.99% sure its your coil. What your describing sounds exactly like the symptom of a bad coil. A new coil should cost around 70 bucks. If your local dealer wants something like $130 bucks for it, forget them and buy it online.
Also, I remember reading a post about a "ghost cylinder" problem. Meaning that the ECU says there is a misfire in cylinder 2(or 3 or4 or whatever), but in reality the bad coil (and the misfire) is NOT in the cylinder the ECU says it is. In which case you have to do some coil swapping to find out which one is the bad coil. In either case, it sounds like you have a symptom of a bad coil, so before you proceed with any other thing, replace the coil in cylinder #1 and see what happens.
