Engine Swap

Engine Swap
I was just wondering could you replace the stock engine in a 1998 Maxima SE with the Vg30DETT engine from a twin turbo zx. Or could you also replace it with the RB25DETT engine from a skyline. --THey have had these engines on Ebay for pretty low prices and I was thinking about getting one.

You can do anything, but remember, the max is FWD, the Skyline/300ZX are RWD, doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out...damn near impossible...Just turbo/SC your max and have about 10,000 left over

considering all the countless discussions on this board over time it has come to that the only feasible 'swap' is from the same gen to the same gen. this in itself makes the whole thing pointless, unless your engine is toast, since you won't gain anything from putting in the same engine.
