The Maxima and the TL share the same luxuries and the same size. The Maxima 5spd is faster than the TL, but I doubt the auto maxima is faster. I'm sure the Max is a little bit slower. I'd say SE Maxima handling is better than TL's.

I personally like the interior of the Maxima better, but that's my opinion. I think the TL looks REALLY good on the outside though. I love the looks of the car. Look out next model year when the TL-S comes out. 260 HP and more aggressive styling (17" rims). However, I really am not fond of the CL-S, especially driving it, so I'm sure I won't be that impressed.

5Spd Maxima is a car that's hard to beat for the price. Sure a 540i Sport, or GS400 might be a better all around car, but a Stillen S/c Maxima with Stillen Aero Kit is in my opinion better than both. It looks damn good with the aero kit, and it BONES out with the S/C. You can get both of those installed for $5000. Add some racing suspension and you're only $6000 more. So you can get a GS400 / 540i killer for $20,000 less.
