How much for diagnostic?
Do it yourself. Its extremely simple, just read the FAQ's and get a small screw driver. Read the flashing codes directly from the ECU and then look up the code. All the info is available though "Maxima.org"
Shop rates very however it is possible to get free scans. Autozone offers a free code scan service right in the parking lot of their store. Just ask an employee to scan your car.

WRONG! Take a closer look. A white plastic screw in a blue plastic housing. It is a three pole switch (like a 3 position toggle) Perhaps you are looking at the wrong screw... Why would that make an electronig component out of a material that will oxidize? Or better yet, make one out of a material that CONDUCTS electricity yet half of its life is spent INSULATING from electricity. It sure isn't steel, Dingo...
