my buddy has a 99 Maxima, we have some lowerin springs we are gonna put on we have a spring compressor is there any other tools we need to tackle this all down..any help would be appreciated

umm...when i did mine, i needed a ratchet+socket set, impact wrench, spring compressor, torque wrench, hydrolic jack, jack stands.

i think you need 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 21mm, (23mm for my 99 strut bolts) sockets.

other than that, maybe some liquid wrench for rusty bolts. that should be enough good luck

19MM for the front strut nuts on the hub. Use all 6 point 1/2 in drive tools. A good size breaker bar will be needed to break the lower nuts lose on both the front and rear.

HINT: You don't need to compress the rear springs. Just take the nut off, you'll get a slight hop when it releases. Nothing much at all, there not under much load at all. It will speed up the job quite a bit. You usually don't need to compress most lowering springs. Just have a friend help you press down a bit and you should be able to catch the nuts with ease.
