So I was cruising at the speed limit when all of a sudden an older model Fiero (first generation?) Got on my a**. Low and behold we were able to get side by side at a light. He had the factory dual exhaust so I think it was the V6. Anyway, I knew he had no idea my "4 door" could waste him. I even let him take off first to truly see if he wanted a piece of me. After hitting about 85 in a 35 zone, I just saw him about 3 or 4 lengths away (at least; I knew he was far, but I had to focus back on the road for a sharp corner). I didn't want to waste my time with him but he asked for it! Actually, a Durango fooled around with me about 2 minutes later and that thing moved! We didn't get to race, but I think it was one of those R/T's.

I was just sharing my little race experience, that's all (I never get opportunities to race).

Be careful, hitting 85 in a 35mph zone is just asking for trouble.

Isn't the Fiero a 4 banger? I don't think they came in V6.

Yeah,

most fieros are 4 cylinder but there is a 6 cylinder one as well. My friends got one. Thing's pretty fast for an old clunker but if you ever get in an accident in it, you're toast hehe.

rll96se what state are you in ?
And was that fiero two tone brown ?
My friends fiero is fast as hell. He'll kick a corvettes *** big time.( i witnessed it myself through the passanger window of the fiero) Also the reason asked you what state you live in is because he traded it with a guy in North Dakota for the second generation body style .. And yes they do come with the 4 cylinder , the GT comes with the 6 cylinder..
But if you are in that state DON'T race that Fiero he'll do low 13s in a quarter..On really good tires he'll pull high 12's...NO KIDDING around here.. It has bout 8 grand worth of engine upgrades including NOS. A car that can lift its front tires off the ground excellerating is not taken likely. It looks like its a $1,500 P.O.S but it will run circles around you all day..

PRPMax,
I am in St. Louis Missouri so I did not run into the two tone Fiero you are talkin about. I guess it was a four banger I raced. The kid wanted to race though so I gave him a taste. BTW, any Maxima enthusiasts in St. Louis? My best friend is a Honda guy so I hear about is Honda this, Honda that, Acura this...Don't get me wrong they are great cars but I would like to see some Maxima's in person with some mods so I can get a grasp on what I need to do to my bone stock car.
