Will an 18x7.5 wheel with at 40mm offset fit my 97 maxima?
I don't want the wheel to stick out. what offset is good for my maxima? thanks

Yes that will fit well. Offset depends on the wheel width you are running. But as a general rule any wheel between 7 and 8.5" wide and 37 and 45 offset will work.

Nealoc is it ok to get a 17X7 rim with 225s if im gonna do really hard cornering with them? I know 225 is two sizes plus.....and i think it SHOULD fit a 17x7 rim. Just asking cause there are some good deals going around for anyrim that is 7 inches wide. The difference in price between a 17x7 and 17x7.5 rim is astounding.

225 will fit fine on a 7" rim. Thats the upper end of what tire manufacturers recommend on a 7" rim.
