Well, I dont know, I dont think it would look good, never really interested me. I picked wood because it matches the tan perfectly. It gives you the ability to take away all the black areas and cover ti with wood, making it look really luxurious, and make you feel rich Aluminum would look good on dark color interiors.

I was the one looking for the trim. I had him post before I could activate my account. Thanks for the advice. Maybe after some work I'll post a picture on here.

You know I have a greyish interior as well and I was wondering what the brushed alluminum would look like. That looks pretty sweet I'll actually probably end up getting that one instead.

For black interior, of course aluminum would be better, in fact i would rather have that, but since my interior is tan..wood is the way to go. I bought mine off ebay for like 115 shipped. It wasnt the one with ALL the peices...the one above had like maybe 6 more peices (door peices and heater trims). But oh well. ANyways, my kit is like 3M. Its sticky, but you have to swipe this liquid over the area which makes it extremely strong, I dont think I can get it off now, but why would i? LoL It is very secure, have had it for almost a year and no problems.

Is there a chrome kit of this? I'de like the get the chrome gauge cover with the reverse glow gauges, and eventually do the chrom door handles and all that, so I'de like it to match. I've been looking around but not seen one. Does it even exist? Or is my search only going to be in vain?

Your telling me you guys just tape that stuff onto your dash?

That seems a bit risky, doesn't it look cheesy?

not tape....its this thing that is already sticky..but you need to add this liquid stuff to make it like stronget than super glue...if I'm correct, you go to a dealer and ask to put a dash kit..they stick it on too...at least for VWs they are.

So, these kits are what dealers use, but not what the nissan factory uses right?

No, what im saying is...that the delaers usually do the same procedure, where you get the kit, which is already sticky enough, but they add this liquid substance on the area you're going to put teh kit on which make its stick hard, more than super glue. Dealers have their own kit that they use, mine was from ebay, but im sure the process of putting it on is the same.

Does it look cheesey in your car? I saw the pic you posted, it looks pretty nice. It's just hard for me to imagine something that superglues over your old dash would look good.

Let me know, do you have any more pics?

I love the way it looks. Make the car look very different. I thought the same thing..until I tried to move one of the peices a little because it was slightly crooked, but couldnt after 2 seconds. LoL. Go to my homepage, and look at some pics of my TV, you can see some closeups of the dash.
