whats the proper direction of a bent midpipe

I have a mid-pipe by rvm racing with a bend in it. It's virtually identical to the "new" frankencar midpipe with a bend in it. I know it doesn't really matter, but which side does everyone put the bend towards? I have it setup so the bent side meets the TB and the straight side meets the MAF. Whats the "recommended way"?

as long as you can still connect all the necessary hoses to it, it doesnt matter.
