Dash Trim Opinion

Sorry, I have a 99 GXE, Sunlit Sand exterior, black dash and gray seats. On a budget but I don't mind spending for quality. Thanks!

exactly what I have you can get the kits on ebay daily for abou $100.00-$120.00 these are nice but they are the plastic epoxy ones they lok pretty good or you can get the Joshua tree ones more expensive a banner flahes across ths board every now and then they are sponsor...go there. do a search on dashes..

I have their Real Brushed Aluminum Kit it sells on there site for $275.00 but I got a steal for it on ebay a month ago for only $107.50,what do you like wood, carbon fiber, aluminum?

here is another shot of mine.....1997 GXE Charcoal Grey Interior Black dash, personally I like only aluminum in a black dash but I have seen some very nice looking aluminum on tan interiors...too...

Very nice pictures, I must say. I think I'm siding with the wood look. Do you know the quality differences between Josua Tree and others since there's a price variation.

Thanks!

I do not know about the quality but the ones from http://www.AlkaPlus.com look nice. He sells them on e-bay for around $109. Here is a link for one of his auctions with a picture of the Brazilian Rosewood kit on a Maxima. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...915636&r=0&t=0
I have a 97 GLE and really like that one. I have one concern. Right now I have some wood on my dash and if I put one of those pieces over it would I still see the existing wood below it? Does it look bad? If anyone knows please tell me. Thanks.

Joshua Tree is very very nice but the "cheap" ones are ok too depending on your wallet and how picky you are if I hadn't found such a good deal on mine I was going to get the ones on ebay hundreds of $$$$$$$$for a dash kit not many people will say different but it is your money.....

How about a carbon fibre dash. Those look pretty nice. However, I ended up buying a wood dash since my dad said that the carbon one looked too fake.

Well, I got the aluminum one off ebay for 99.00 or whatever and it's not perfect. There's some imperfections in the finish (looks like scratches in the clearcoat or something) but it's not really noticeable unless you look up close. I'm also a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Any I paid half price for my dash kit so to me it's not worth it.

Also, I really think it should be brushed aluminum on a black interior and wood only on a tan. Looks a lot better that way, but that's just my opinion, what do i know =)

Nathan: Exactly what kinda car is that, I see 2002 SE-R, but that just sounds like a year and trim to me, is that an altima??

My only suggestion about a dash kit is to go look at them (in person) beforehand, I always thought aluminum looked lame in pictures and wood-trim looked classy, but after I was in a max with woodtrim it kinda reminds me of tye-dye brown more than 'wood', and the alumunim is really nice and smooth looking in person.

Don't get it from ebay.. If you don't mind about pay little more $$ and want something higher quality, go for joshua tree ones.
You'll get what you paid for.
