Levoc Shifter (auto) Overdrive button- Press halfway
Anyone else notice the overdrive button on the Napolex Levoc auto shift **** works when slightly pressed, without having to click it in and out? Works good for dropping out of overdrive gear in corners or for passing, then you just let off a little and it goes back into overdrive.

hehe...I swapped my 96 GXE auto shift lever for one from a 01 (leather wrapped) shift **** and the O/D buttons are different. On the 06 - it was press on / press off(clicks and stays pressed until released) and the 01 was a press for OD on and press again for OD off.
What happens now it that when I press the button on the shifter - it kicks to third but doesn't stay there unless I hold the button down. SO I also wired a seperate button (in parallel to the shifter **** button) and now I can momentarily hit OD with the shifter or keep it on with the seperate button.
Kinda like what you were talking about....hmmm maybe I should the got the levoc shifter to begin with and save myself all that chopping and welding to retro-fit the shift ****.
