If you want to take the super cheap route and get a stick to hold up your hood or you can drill holes in your existing struts and use pins to hold the strut in an extended position. (not reccomended solutions, but they work in a bind)

I've heard they don't last as long as OEM ones but they are a lot cheaper and have a lifetime warranty.

ask autozone if they carry them but currently dont have them in stock. i got mine from autozone called strongarm or something like that for 20 each.
the stock ones arent that good i got my car last year(3yrs old) and one of the supports had already been replaced and the other stock support was blown.
its always fun to call the dealership for a good laugh
