5th gear = 0.8.
215/60r15 tires = 25.2" high
70mph
3.82 diff ratio
equals 2853 rpm

2nd gear @ redline (6500) = 68.95mph
1st gear @ redline = 38.77mph
1st gear @ 30mph = 5029rpm
1st gear @ 20mph = 3353rpm
1st gear @ 10mph = 1676rpm

this is good for calibrating rpm, i know my speedo is working within spec, but after replacing the tach i am not sure how accurate it is. thanks.

trans gear is the gear ratio of whatever gear you are in. the other gear is the final drive ratio or the differential ratio.

it calculates any gear you put in. you put in any gear ratio you want.

it really is not a difficult thing.
