$300 is more than robbery, is damn near Fraud! I got my wheel bearing replaced at pep boys on my 91se for $170 ish. Granted the part has been rebuilt but they have a lifetime warranty on the damn things if it goes bad again.
Just my $.02

I have the exact same problem the thing is I cant diagnose it since I am really busy here at this place, I will go with the brakes been frozen stuck etc...so I will stop using my ebrake for now and lets see how it goes. My squeaking starts at over 40MPH Ill repost once I get it fixed.

right turn squeeks

A broken strut mount clicks and pops over small bumps over accelerating from a stop. Brake pad wear indicator sreecthes even when brakes are NOT applies, clicks while turning are your already blwon CV joints.
i know my cv boots arnt blown.. they are not ripped/torn ect. the squeeky click when turning comes from the center in the area below the headunit..not from the sides where the cv joints are..any other conclusions for squeeky click while turn right only?

if it's the wheel bearing....
and the noise becomes worse when you turn left... then it should be the driver's side wheel bearing correct?

I wouldn't think that a bad wheel bearing would squeek. Mine went bad and the noise was more of a whirring, pulsating howl. And turning didn't seem to have an effect on the noise either...I could be wrong but that was just my experience with the wheel bearing failure.

im gonna have to go with upper strut mount. I know mine are bad, and mine only does it when im crusing and going over minor bumps, i mean extremely minor. It's only when its super dry out as well. I just feel the the upper insulator is rubbing against something. Plus I can push on the passenger side and hear it squeak from there. Just my guess.

Mine just started spueking real bad when i'm just driving, not turning, havn't noticed if it goes away when i'm turning or not. I knew a girl who had a bad wheel bearing on her car. And it cause the wheel to come off and she ended up hitting a tree and totaling her car

96maximaman...is it true that bad wheel bearing causes the wheel to come off? and do you know if bad wheel causes bad alignment?
