im gonna replace my fuel filters this weekend when i change my plugs but should i just get the same ol stock ones or is there some better ones that wouldnt cost much to smack in there.cuase my pedal is getting spongy and i think it might be my filters.

I would stick w/ the OEM fuel filter from Nissan. Same w/ oil filters.

pretty sure that the 300zx fuel filter will fit....lasts longer...but we only have 1 fuel filter...and what do you mean by spongy...do you know how long it has been since it was changed? pretty simple job unless you have ABS...then prepare to struggle...tons of posts on this so try a search for info on that other filter..

not sure how long its been but im sure it needs it.i just hit 80k and i got it used.the old owner took good care of it and had all the resets and stuff for maint but i didnt see one for the most recent tune up.and as far as spongy feeling.its almost like i can feel the gas pressure riase and lower thru the foot pedal.not sure if that sounds right but its all i can think of.thanks for the replys

the fuel filter will give you hesitation...doesn't hurt to change it...and if that doesn't work you can do more research and move onto another part...
