Maxima advice

I just bought a 98 Maxima SE about 3 weeks ago. This is my first car considering i just turned 16 and got my license. There are some things that i do want to do to it, but i don't want to rice it up. I was wondering what exhaust is better for my maxima, the stillen or the greddy SE??? If any one has these exhuasts if u could please respond to this thread. Also, which intake is better, the HKS, the Stillen, or the Injen??? In addition, i have on more problem: My drivers side headlight seems to have a lot of glass and dust INSIDE the light. I don't feel like ordering and installing a new light cuz ilke RPM nissan is riping me off and asking 300 for the whole thing, parts and labor. Is there anyway i can take of the light and clean it and put it back together. If i can't do that, do any of u know how to install a nissan maxima headlight, if u do, please respond. Appreciate it

How can you afford all of this at 16????? I remember scraping together everything I had when I was 16 (7 yrs ago) to buy a 91 Dodge Colt. Wow, I sound old...

at 16, i had a rustbucket 85 blazer that I paid for. damn the life. Anyway, if you want performance, i would just get a y and b pipe and intake. that should be loud enough as well, unless you want a really loud exhaust.

I bought my first car at 18 in February. This July I'll be buying a '97. Been looking around for the "perfect SE" but still haven't found it yet.

Always said that if I were to ever buy a car.... it couldn't be a POS. Definitely could say I stuck to that.

My "perfect se" was sitting in my driveway under the ownership of my older brother. I bought that off of him when he was going into his last yr of college. Now, it's MINE! It was either buy his for 11, or buy one from the dealer, same color, options and around mileage for 18,XXX. What do you think I was going to pick?

Personally, I think the Injen intake would look and sound the nicest. They can get loud without sounding harsh and are not obtrusive at light throttle.

Both the HKS and the Stillen cat-back exhausts are going to have a heavy droning sound. There will be a constant boomy low frequency noise even at light throttle from 2300-2800 rpms which would be the most common cruising rpms. The annoying noise is mostly the fault of the muffler section of those brands.

I love my Greddy SP cat-back. I would get the Injen intake.
