When i put the clear insert into the tail-light, do i place the "smooth" side of the clear insert facing towards the black housing or clear plastic that i am placing it in?

id really appreciate it if u sent me another insert for the outer drivers side. i just went to a glass cutting shop and they cut me a piece that is too small and still charged $5.00...this is turning into a nightmare.

I like the clear look better. WOW I suck at cutting this stuff. Maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist, but I keep getting tiny gaps on one end or the other. Thanks for the extra piece Ryan!

Do a search for details on it. It's the clear tail light mod, but smoked clears.
