which intake is the safest when it comes to water inductions I have heard alot of guys with the CIA blow their engines even this guy with a bypass valve messed his up going through a puddle... are short ram intakes the safests that this cant happend to??...I dont think its worth it to get a CAI if this is going to happend especially that I live in Florida when get rain and more rain.

I'm planning on keeping the stock box and replacing the top resonator with the top piece from PR's CAI

The hi-flow intakes from Stillen and JWT are probably your safest bets. They flow a lot of air, and they are up and out of the way of puddles. With you down there in Florida, it's a good idea to avoid those "dip tubes" ... uh, CAI's. Good luck.
