speed sensitive steering - where is it now ???

when my car was stock and i drove on the expressway above 75 mph the steering would get nice and tight , and on normal streets would be just right - not too tight nor loose- wow i did love that car back than !!!! what a ride .....

but now with all the so called " suspensiom upgrades " the feel of speed sensitive steering is gone , along with that smooth controled ride, btw i'm on H&R's , KYB , stock wheels and tires , RSB , FSTB

anybody experience the same thing ?????

and yes - Maximas come with standard speed sensitive steering !

So you upgraded/made modifications to it...why?

Did it start right after the mods, or could it be wear and tear since you've installed the mods?

When did maximas get speed-sensitive steering standard?

after i did suspension...my steering got loose as hell...
but i know for a fact that its because i haven't done an alignment yet...

friend of mine did an alignment and the steering was tight
he redid his suspension, and it got loose again.

this weeknd im putting in energy suspension front sway bar, control arm bushings. New tires. Hopefully new strut mounts and strut bearings. I'll let u know if it makes any difference. I'm assuming its tie rod ends. But I needed to finally change this stuff anyways. Likse I said I'll keep you posted.

tie rod ends or miss alignment seem be the clupirt most of the time for loose sterring.
