Pads and rotor - breaks feel weak

ok, i just installed xd and slotted rotors on my rear and raybestos qs pads as well. i did not do anything to the front in fear that something mite be done wrong. i took the cr for a test drive and the rear brakes feel really weak when i engage the handbreak and the overall breaking of the pedal feels a tiny bit weaker, not tooo sure though. wat can this be. thanks

break in period for the pads??
When I got my pads changed professionally they were very bad for about 100miles... like they wouldn't stop nearly as well as they used to

bleed your breaks and bed your pads...then test them...

www.maximadriver.com has instructions on bedding new pads and seasoning rotors.

You need to bed the pads and rotor properly before you feel them perform. Do several (8 - 10) agressive slow downs from about 60 - 30 MPH and never stop moving. Allow at least a mile in between each cycle for the rotors and pads to cool down, then repeat. When your done, drive home and allow the brakes to completely cool down before you stop the car.
