o2 sensor question

My cel keeps on going off after resetting it about 3 times so I know its bad. After searching about oxygen sensors I found a few websites people posted and they sell them for about $65 shipped (oxygensensors.com). I'm not much of a internet shopper so I called around today and a local shop sells Bosch UNIVERSAL oxygen sensors for the same price. The difference is that I will have to slice the wires onto the stock o2 sensors. Which do you think I should buy? The regular Bosch sensors cost $90 or so. Thanks.

Sup man, I give you an EXTREME amount of credit for finding www.oxygensensors.com... I always tell EVERYone to use that site...It has the CHEAPEST prices you will find around! The Universal sensor is not as good as the oem deal, and you have to splice and wire it, if you buy the oem style one from oxygensensors.com, for 65 Shipped, then it is a direct replacement, unscrew old from y pipe, disconnect plug, screw in new sensor, reconnect new plug from new sensor...its extremely easy...the customer service from that site was also excellent, i had my sensor within 3 days, and it even comes with anti sieze... Hope this long ramble helps, Kyle

The 2 front O2 sensors are different the the one behind the cat. BUT when I ordered mine they called me the next day to verify which one I needed.

At first when I just changed one sensor and started my car. It started shaking like crazy. I was like, What the ****! Right after I change the second 02 sensor. My car kept dying. The RPM was too low. It was like running around 300 to 400 RPM. I raised the idle rpm higher and is fine now. I reseted the ECL and a day later, it came back on again. I checked on the code and it said the front 02 is causing the problem. The code were 0303. It just came out continously. I have to go to Autozone and do one of those daily loan tools set for the 02. Hopefully, I will be able to fix it.

You need a oxygen sensor tool set to remove the engine 02 sensor. There is no way you can change it without it.
