Need opinions on BOMZ CAI...

To those of you that have it....it looks polished and alot like the place racing one.....but the only drawback i can see is the size of the cone....Ive read a while ago that you can get a larger one, but which one? Thanks...Oh and can i just use the midpipe from the kit if i dont want to do any drilling?

I have one and I am using the midpipe along with a K&N RF-1042. The filter is identical to the Stillen filter but the length 1.5 inches longer.

You can go to the K&N website to check for yourelf as I do not know the exact specs off the top of my head.

Just get it. Works fine. If you don't want to make it cold air, leave it high flow. Buy a new filter from an autozone or pep boyz any of them with a 3" diameter will do.

The drilling was a pain in the *** without hte right tools. I had to drive around with it as a hybrid for a day till i finally got around to drilling the hole. Im satisfied.

bomz didnt give me the adapter for the cone filter.. bstards.. i had to make my own using the stock adapter from inside stock air box...i cut a strip of rubber from the stock 3in rubber hose for gasket and made me hybrid intake kinda poor man style..make sure they give you an adapter, its a pain in the butt without one..
