Get two pairs of real HID kits,I did,1 for the headlights and a pair for

the fogs. It is really awesome looking and lights things up about 10 times better then Piaa SW,it really looks like day light out in front of me.It's a bit pricey though.

I always wanted HID's.......but have heard of a few ppl on the board say that they do not look good in a 9004 housing......but you seem to be happy w/ em though.....where and how much? What is the next step down from real HID's?

I have the PIAA 9004 in my 97 headlight housings and the PIAA h3 super whites 85watt fog bulbs. Those APC Plasma and Eurolight bulbs suk, they dont do a thing at night except look cool. I had the Hella Yellow Stars 85watt h3's and i took them out after a week, they didnt put out enough light for me compared to the Piaa h3's. As for parking/brake lights i have all Polarg Hyper white and red bulbs.

HIDs don't look good in 9004 most of the time. You have to modify the bulb appropriately for correct beam patterns and shield it properly (if you decide to go with a D2S bulb). Some kits rebase and modify the bulb orientation for you, most don't. Emax95 and I are getting H4 Cefiro lights which should be a lot better for a HID retrofit (E-code lamps). Anyway, I highly suggest http://www.autolamps-online.com kits because they have one of the best kits for H4.

I got eurolites

I put them in a few days ago and they look MUCH BETTER than the stock yellow bulbs. Thye have a slight blue tint to them. I also installed the APC harness because the bulbs are 80/100 watt. I also installed Eurolites in the clearance lights and sidemarkers. It looks very uniform. Try using the search function...there is loads of info on this forum about this topic.

Get the wire harness, I had high wattage bulbs in my 92 max and they melted the bulbs and the connectors. I would say get the catz zeta ballasts for your lights if you want close to HID look and and not pay the HID price. The ballast are about $200. A buddy of mine has them in his Volvo and they look cool.
