Sylvania Xtravsions + amber bulbs = amazed
I recently swapped out the Nokya headlight bulbs for Sylvania Xtravision bulbs. Also, put in amber bulbs for the corners and sidemarkers. The look was different for sure. It didn't look as "cool" as my previous setup. I was tired of the hyperwhite look, plus while the Nokyas looked cool, they didn't do a thing for visibility, especially in the rain. Immediately, I noticed at night the visibility was much better. However, I didn't get to test them out in the rain yet until this week. It rained all week long. So it was a perfect time to test my new headlight bulbs out. All I can is WOW. Big difference in visibility in the rain between the Xtravisions and Nokyas. When I first had this setup, I thought it looked a bit odd and not as "cool" looking. Today as I passed a building with reflective windows, I could see my own car. So of course I didn't hesitate to use them to see how the new headlights and amber bulbs look. Hm...actually, they didn't look too bad. I kind of like how they look now. Maybe the look grew on me. I'm glad I made the switch.

i did the amber corners like 2 years ago but the bulbs turned clear. I cant find really dark orange 1156, 1167, and 194 anywhere. I checked Autozone, Napa, and VIP all they have are yellow/amber bulbs. The bulbs i originally got were from Wally World, but then turned clear so im not buying them again. Anybody have LED's?
