Trenz Grille help

hey ppl. my trenz grille fits in allright but not without sticking out a tiny bit past the hood. reason for that is the holes on the two bottom screw attachments dont line up with the holes on the headlight, where your original grille was snapped into. anyone with a trenz grille knows what im talking about, unless my grille is jacked up and im an exception. anyways, because the holes didnt line up ive had to forced them to, which inturn forces the grille to bend a little and thus stick out. sorry but ive got no pic and cant explain it any better. how do you work it to fit just right?

Unfortunatly i know exactly what your talkin about.Mine did the same exact thing. ive had my grill on for a little while now and its still not perfect. one of the billets is in torwards the engine more b/c of how the grill bends when the screws are tightend. but if i loosen it up anymore then it will stick out past my hood. it does a very little bit now but not very much. i connected a lot of zip ties together and linked the top middle billet to the hood release latch for about a week. it helped a little. when i have more patients one weekend im gonna figure out how to do it right. its just been to hot out latley.

that one guy w/ the gold max that says "nismo" across his sig has a tight lookin grill. maybe he'd be a good one to ask?.... good luck, let me know how it turns out.

hey thanks for replying! nismo if youre reading this plz give us some pointers. im actually considering drilling new holes to match the position of the screw attachments on the grille. that way it wont force the grille to bend. but id rather see what other ppl have done so i wont screw it up.

Hey, when i first put my grill on i had a similar problem and thought it looked mad gay...so what i did was i lined up the grill where i wanted it marked out the holes and drilled them out took probably about 5 mins and as long as your careful it should be fine. My grills been on for over a year and its still in the same place and doesn't stick out.
Good Luck - Raga
