e-brake handle

I got a momo handle for my e brake but i cant put it on because I cant get off the stock one. My guess was that it is prob. glued on. How can I get the damn thing off?

Position a screwdriver at the end of the parking brake handle, and then hammer it off. It takes a lil while but it will come off.
